Camp Hyp! Outline — Hyp... for Hyperthyroidism!

"Hyperthyroidism considered through various ways is at
the heart of the Camp Hyp! Pilot Project."

Welcome to the reception of the Camp Hyp!.

The bilingual reception of the Camp Hyp ! forms an access center to all the services and all the activities of the Camp Hyp!.

The home page (Accueil) of the reception of the Camp Hyp! represents a kind of bilingual message board where the most recent messages intended to the members and/or the visitors of the Camp Hyp! are displayed.

The access to the services of the Camp Hyp! and the membership are free for everybody. The free services and activities of the Camp Hyp! are possible because of different forms of Voluntary Contributions.

The Camp Hyp!

The Camp Hyp! offers various basic online bilingual services in order to support people in their personal journey towards a better understanding of the hyperthyroidism phenomenon, also known under the name of Graves’s disease. The three principal services of the Camp Hyp! are:

1. The CIRCLE of the CAMP HYP! - Webring of blogs and similar personal journal-like web sites whose owners live a hyperthyroidism condition, a hypothyroidism condition following the treatment of a hyperthyroidism condition or a remission condition;

2. The COMPENDIUM of the CAMP HYP! - Compilation of points of view on the hyperthyroidism phenomenon;

3. The NEO STAND shop of the CAMP HYP! - Specialized stand in supporting products for the investigation and the comprehension of the hyperthyroidism phenomenon.

The Camp Hyp! devoted to the deepening of the individual and collective comprehension of the hyperthyroidism phenomenon also offers many other services. To discover all the services of the Camp Hyp!, please go to the section entitled “Services of the Camp Hyp!” on the right side bar of this page and/or visit the Circle of the Camp Hyp! using the Camp Hyp! navigation bar lodged in the section entitled “To begin or continue your tour of the English-speaking Circle…” at the bottom of this page.

Two Circles of the Camp Hyp!

The Camp Hyp! integrates two Circles; one is French-speaking and the other is English-speaking. The Circles of the Camp Hyp! link people from all walks of life with various hyperthyroidism conditions or Graves’ disease within an empathic community network by the means of blogs and personal journal-like Web sites of all kinds.

Members of the Circles of the Camp Hyp! are people who admit having obtained one day or another in their life an official medical diagnosis of a hyperthyroidism condition or Graves’ disease. The current condition of health can thus vary considerably from one member to another. Among the members of the Circles of the Camp Hyp!, it is possible to find people with an hyperthyroidism condition, people that are now experiencing an hypothyroidism condition after been treated for an hyperthyroidism condition and people considered in remission. The possible cases of figure among the members are numerous.

The will or the desire to explore and investigate one’s particular hyperthyroidism condition in relation with his or her own life experiences over a long period of time constitutes the central motivation which gathers the members of the Circles of the Camp Hyp! together.

You do not necessarily need to be a member of the Camp Hyp! or of the Circles of the Camp Hyp! to visit the sites of the members and to take advantage of the various services of the Camp Hyp!. All visitors willing to express respectful behaviours towards the sites of the members and the services of the Camp Hyp! are welcome.

Note in connection with the bilingual dimension of the Camp Hyp!

An interesting fact to note is that although the basic English and French services offered at the Camp Hyp! are the same ones, the services as well as the French-speaking and English-speaking Circles develop in their own original way according to the members and visitors who attend them. The French-speaking Circle and English-speaking Circle of the Camp Hyp! are thus not exact copies of one and another.

Even if you don’t master the basics of the two languages in use on the Camp Hyp!, a simple visit as a curious tourist with regard to the services of the Camp Hyp! as well as to the French-speaking and English-speaking Circles will inevitably reveal to you that the two Circles of the Camp Hyp! offer similarities but also differences.
